Nanshan is surrounded by the sea on three sides, with Shenzhen Bay and Qianhai Bay, as well as mountains, rivers, and lakes such as Dananshan and Xiaonanshan mountains, Dasha River, Xili Lake, and Neilingding Island. There are a total of 191 parks in Nanshan, which is equivalent to one park per 10,000 permanent residents.
