The 2025 Nanshan District Spring Festival Flower Fair will open on Jan. 22, according to the district’s urban management and comprehensive law enforcement bureau.

This year’s flower fair, from Jan. 22 to Feb. 12, will be a tapestry of innovation, artistic expression, and consumer engagement, and extend across the Dutch Flower Town, Zhongshan Park, the historic Nantou Ancient Town, and green spaces and commercial areas within the district.

During the period, residents will be treated to a delightful series of festive activities. A total of 160 stalls will be set up in 12 locations scattered across various subdistricts in Nanshan.

At the flower fair, residents can not only admire and purchase auspicious New Year oranges and orchids, but also immerse themselves in a wide variety of cultural festivities such as dragon dances, music concerts, and traditional cultural performances, all while basking in the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year.

Moreover, the flower fair and its various purchasing points are committed to environmental protection and resource conservation, promoting recycling services for New Year oranges and potted plants, and championing a green, low-carbon lifestyle.

To facilitate easy access for residents, the flower fair has introduced two dedicated shuttle services this year: the Dutch Flower Town Express and the Coastal City Express. Additionally, a complimentary bus line has been established specifically for the Spring Festival flower fair.
