Li Xiaoning, the district mayor of Nanshan District, led a delegation to Guilin City’s Ziyuan and Longsheng counties in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to exchange ideas on conducting collaboration between the eastern and western regions from July 10 to 12.

Li Chu, mayor of Guilin City, welcomed the visit of the Nanshan inspection team from and expressed gratitude for the strong support and assistance provided by Nanshan for Guilin’s economic and social development, especially for collaboration between Guangdong Province and Guangxi. 

Li hoped that in the future, Nanshan can further deepen cooperation in various fields such as industry, culture and tourism, and technology with Ziyuan and Longsheng counties, closely maintain all-round and multi-level friendly exchanges, work together to achieve high-quality economic and social development, and jointly write a new chapter of collaboration between the eastern and western regions.

Li Xiaoning, on behalf of the Nanshan District Committee of the CPC and the District Government, expressed gratitude to Longsheng and Ziyuan counties for their continuous support of collaboration between the eastern and western regions.   

The Nanshan district mayor said that Nanshan will further strengthen the complementarity, connectivity, mutual assistance, and mutual development between the two regions, promote mutual assistance in fields such as public services, healthcare, education, and labor export, and work together to make progress in the collaboration between the eastern and western regions.

Nanshan donated rural revitalization funds to Longsheng and Ziyuan counties, respectively, at a donation ceremony.

During the trip in Guilin, Li Xiaoning and the delegation visited various places in the two counties such as a traditional Chinese medicine planting base, a bio-pharmaceutical industrial park, and a model village for culture and tourism integrated development.

He pointed out that Nanshan needs to further strengthen industrial coordination, production and sales docking, and personnel exchanges with Longsheng and Ziyuan counties, deeply tap into local advantages and characteristic resource endowments, and carry out more solid, in-depth, and comprehensive cooperation between the eastern and western regions.
